SBCISD Curriculum Audit

San Benito CISD has been making progress in various areas.

Recently, trustees approved the Re-Imagine 2021 Strategic Plan, work continues in addressing the Efficiency Audit, and now, Trustees and District administrators are prepared to address areas outlined in the Curriculum Audit as conducted under the auspices of the Texas Curriculum Management Audit Center of the Texas Association of School Administrators.

Lead auditor Kay Coleman presented the Curriculum Audit report during a Special Board Meeting on Tuesday, August 2.

The Curriculum Audit team scoured through approximately 2,000 documents, interviewed close to 200 stakeholders, conducted 280 classroom visits, and reviewed over 400 survey results as part of their audit.

Coleman and trustees commended Superintendent of Schools Dr. Adrian Vega, staff and administration.

Dr. Vega expressed his appreciation to trustees.

“We are all proud of our community,” said Dr. Vega. “We are all in this together.”

District administrators will review the report and develop appropriate plans to address areas outlined in the report.
